A small product should have a small data footprint.
Safrom's Public Alpha does not require an account and does not ask for profile, payment or precise-location information.
Information stored in your browser
Your language preference is saved locally on your device. Shared city and comparison links encode their state in the URL. Safrom does not currently use that information to create a user profile.
Standard service records
Like most websites, the hosting, API and map providers may receive standard request metadata such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser type and diagnostic logs. These records are used to deliver and protect the service.
What Safrom does not do
The Public Alpha does not sell personal information, run advertising profiles, or provide user accounts. Product analytics will not be enabled without first documenting what is collected and why.
Corrections
The correction form creates a report in your browser. In the current Alpha it does not transmit or store the report; you choose where to send or save the copied text.
