Compare Antalya central districts, including long-term earthquake exposure and source-linked safety context.
Five central Antalya districts: Muratpaşa, Kepez, Konyaaltı, Aksu and Döşemealtı. The layer does not cover the whole Antalya province or outlying resort districts. ESHM20 mean peak ground acceleration (PGA, units g), annual exceedance probability 0.002103 (approximately 10% in 50 years / 475-year return period), reference rock Vs30=800 m/s. This is long-term modelled shaking, not earthquake prediction, observed damage, local soil amplification or building resistance. The model uses a 0.1-degree grid (roughly 9–11 km here). District values are area-weighted nearest-cell aggregates in UTM 36N. Administrative outlines locate the aggregates and do not imply street-level seismic precision. Only disaster_and_environment varies locally; the citywide estimate and other dimensions retain the existing Türkiye country research calibration. This map does not measure district crime or compare hotels. Danciu et al. (2021), The 2020 update of the European Seismic Hazard Model: Model Overview, EFEHR Technical Report 001, doi:10.12686/a15. alerts are not long-term baseline risk; event footprint may not equal traveler exposure; alert severity cannot be copied directly into Safrom score
country-level only; humanitarian risk framing differs from traveler exposure; composite inputs can overlap Safrom dimensions; current event conditions require separate signals
country-level only; reporting and justice-system differences; latest year differs by country; not traveler-specific
country-level only; availability does not measure emergency accessibility; latest year differs by country; distribution within a country is hidden
country-level only; collection is not annual for every country; some values are modeled estimates; resident exposure differs from traveler exposure
Syria and Iraq border restrictions do not describe Istanbul; legal risk differs from ordinary city crime; advisory level is not an absolute safety score; U.S.-traveler perspective
country-level only; modeled perceptions rather than traveler incidents; cannot represent neighborhood variation or current events; confidence intervals must not be discarded
